How BetDNA Protects Your Data
Your betting history is personal. You are trusting us with a detailed record of your decisions, and that trust shapes how the platform is built.
This page explains our protections in plain language — no jargon, no security theatre.
Your betting history belongs to you
You imported it, you own it, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.
Your data is encrypted
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest on managed, access-controlled infrastructure.
We never sell your personal data
No data brokers, no advertisers, no bookmakers. Our only revenue is your subscription.
Only your account can see your data
Access rules are enforced at the database level, so one account can never read another's bets.
Your information is used only for your insights
The bets you import power your metrics, your Betting DNA profile, your coaching and your reports. That is the entire purpose. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share your history with bookmakers, affiliates or any third party for their own use.
Where we look at platform-wide patterns to improve the product, that analysis is aggregated and de-identified — it describes how features perform, not who you are.
How your data is protected day to day
- Encrypted connections everywhere — your data never travels unprotected.
- Row-level access rules so every query is scoped to your account.
- Secrets, keys and payment credentials stored in managed secure storage, never in the app.
- Card details handled entirely by our payment provider — BetDNA never sees or stores them.
- Least-privilege access for the small number of people who can support the platform.
- Regular dependency and configuration reviews to catch issues early.
You can export or delete everything
Control has to be real to be meaningful. From Settings you can request a copy of your data, or permanently delete your account.
- Export — receive your bets, metrics and profile in a machine-readable format.
- Delete a single import — remove a batch of bets and every insight derived from it.
- Delete your account — permanently remove your personal data and betting history, other than records we must retain by law.
Request your data
Ask for a full copy of everything BetDNA holds about you. We will verify the request and respond within the timeframe set out in our Privacy Policy.
Delete your account
Permanent deletion is available from Settings. There is no retention flow designed to talk you out of it.
We continuously monitor platform security
Security is ongoing work, not a badge. We monitor for unusual activity, keep dependencies current, review access regularly and treat every reported issue seriously.
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to us privately via the Contact page before disclosing it publicly. We will acknowledge your report and keep you updated while we investigate.
A note on honesty
This page describes protections that are actually in place today. BetDNA does not claim formal certifications it does not hold. As the platform matures and independent assessments are completed, this page will be updated to reflect them.
